A lack of communication and understanding between partners can show up in a relationship as a sense of distancing, lingering resentments, expressions of anger, or a feeling of “falling out of love.”


In couples therapy you will:

  • Learn specific communication tools to express feelings, needs, and expectations

  • Learn techniques to resolve conflict

  • Learn to listen to and understand your partner

  • Explore blocks to in-depth intimacy, including stress, anger, addiction, health, and financial concerns

  • Address issues arising from different race, culture, or class background


As the therapist, I do not take sides and no one is wrong. It is about perception. You will be amazed at how little you both actually listened to each other in the past! You will learn simple but powerful tools to help you live and work together, and to love and appreciate each other.
